She was an active member and served many offices in The Order of the Eastern Star, Verona chapter; the Madison chapter of Daughters of the Nile, of which she was past Queen; and the Hammond Organ Society. She had been a secretary of the Easter Seal Society for many years, and more recently had been Town Clerk of Montrose Township. She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl, at home; two sons, Weston Jr. and Ronald, both of Belleville; two brothers, Bernard and Karl DeLap of Viroqua; two sisters, Mrs. Connie Hendrickson (Lorraine) of Windsor, WI. and Mrs. Roger M. Bayles (Ruth) of Sun City, Arizona; four grandchildren, Heather, Boyd, Kristin and Kimberly; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, Dr. Kenneth DeLap. Funeral services were held Sunday, January 21, at 2 p.m. at the First United Church of Christ in Belleville, Pastor Don Nelson officiating. Pallbearers were Lloyd Blaney, Jerry DeLap, Jim DeLap, Alan Hendrickson, Carl Hendrickson and Mike Martel. Interment was in Sunset Memory Gardens, Madison Wisconsin.
