Bryan Arthur Higgins Bryan Arthur Higgins, 40, of Billings, former Miles City resident, died Saturday, July 3, 2004, at his home in Billings. Born in Orange, Calif., on Oct. 4, 1963, he was the son of Royce and Judy Weimer Higgins. He moved with his family to Miles City when he was four years of age. There he attended elementary schools and graduated from Custer County District High School. Mr. Higgins attended DeVry Institute in Phoenix, Ariz., where he earned his associate's degree in computer graphics, and later began working for Phoenix Restoration, as an apprentice for Andrew Owens, restoring fine art. He also worked with graphic designs for various companies. He designed the cover for the Spring 1990 "The Traveler" magazine and created the illustrations for the short story "Night Drive" in that edition. Later, Mr. Higgins went back to school in Phoenix to work on earning his bachelor's degree. In 2002 he moved to Billings and worked at the Sheraton Hotel, became involved doing community volunteer work and currently was a chauffeur for a handicapped doctor. Mr. Higgins loved music, concerts and he enjoyed his extensive record, tape, and CD collection. He was proud of his collection of "Starlog," "Fangoria," "Rolling Stones" and "Star Wars" magazines. He was an artist, creating original pieces to give as gifts and to decorate his home. He had a great gift of taking nothing and making it into something unique. Mr. Higgins loved dinosaurs, decorating, rearranging, going to movies and hiking in the mountains. He was a very social person and touched the lives of all who knew him. His survivors include his parents, Royce and Judy Higgins, his grandmother, Lentina Higgins, a sister, Charlene Higgins, and a niece, Breanna Higgins, all of Miles City; two aunts, Paula Rogge, and her husband, Byron, of Miles City and Billie Lou Ryum, and her husband, Gary, of Glendale, Ariz.; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Charlotte Weimer, and Albert Higgins. Private family services will be held at a later date.
