PEARL MAY FERGUSON, 95, of Fort Gay, W.Va., died, Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002, in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Oct. 31, 2002, at the Greenbriar Baptist Church with Pastor Johnny Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Bartram Cemetery, Crabtree Hill. She was born June 8, 1907, in Fort Gay, W.Va., the daughter of the late Curtis and Tokey (Riggs) Ferguson. She was a retired school teacher with the Wayne County Board of Education for forty-two and one-half years. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Hubert, and Elliott Ferguson; one sister, Pauline Ferguson; two nephews, Bernard and John Curtis Ferguson; one great-nephew, John Curtis Ferguson Jr. She is survived by two sisters, Phyllis Crabtree and husband, Howard of Catlettsburg, Ky., and Sarah Maxine "Sally" Ferguson of Fort Gay, W.Va.; four brothers, Maxie L. Ferguson and wife, June of Belle, W.Va., Charles H. Ferguson and wife, Betty of Wayne, W.Va., Henry Russell Ferguson and wife, Jean of Crossville, Tenn., and Ralph Clinton Ferguson and wife, Nina of Seville, Ohio. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002, at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, W.Va.
