Anna Louise Brewer, 87, of Mt. Carmel, died Oct. 2, 2003, at Wabash General Hospital. She was born April 3, 1916, in Mt. Carmel, the daughter of Edgar and Mary Alice (Rigg) Ramsey. Mrs. Brewer was a member of St. Mary's Church in Mt. Carmel and the Friendsville Club. She was a homemaker, and loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Richard Brewer of Mt. Carmel; son, Bob (Barbara) Brewer; two daughters, Joyce (Tommy) Young and Patti (Don) Dunkel, all of Mt. Carmel; nine grandchildren, Sheri (Tim) Zimmer, Chris (Eric) More, Brad (Christy) Brewer, Rob and Greg Dunkel, Lori and Katie Dunkel, Tommy Young III and Jeff Young; and eight great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, John Ramsey. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at St. Mary's Church with burial in Highland Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Cunningham Funeral Home in Mt. Carmel with Rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Building Fund.
